- Previously, there was no unified target vision and no common system approach for use cases in the same market segment and for the same customers.
- The existing systems each had different philosophies (monolith vs. microservice), operating and business models (license vs. subscription), and divergent technological bases (on-premise vs. cloud-only).
Result: Unified Enterprise and IT Architecture and Integration Roadmap
- Definition of Enterprise Architecture dimensions and guidelines (business architecture, information systems, technology architecture).
- Establishing strategic guidelines for the future system architecture to increase the interoperability of solutions.
- Definition of the target IT architecture for the unified Digital TechOps Solution Suite (cloud platform, microservices, data hub, data integration concept, CI/CD pipelines).
- Creation of a roadmap for implementation and integration, including quick wins.
