Data Driven Business Model Innovation” – our workshop with RHI Magnesita

 

To kick off the collaboration, a two-day face-to-face workshop on the topic of data-driven business model innovation took place at RHI Magnesita in Vienna at the end of January.

Gregor Lammer, Head of AI and APO, works with his team on innovative data-based solutions for the refractory industry of the future. Together with our experts Fabio Pereira and Tobias Butsch from NOVAZOON, extensive data potential was determined at the kick-off workshops and promising use cases for new product/service solutions were developed.

The goal of our cooperation is to develop new data-driven business models and thus take the future of RHI Magnesita as a digital pioneer in a traditional industry to the next level.

We would like to thank Gregor Lammer, Manuel Forrer and Thomas Buchegger for the two successful workshop days in Vienna.

Established companies are realizing more and more clearly how important the shift towards digital value creation is. However, only around 33% of the companies actually see themselves well positioned for digital change.

A major obstacle is that there is still too little experience with innovative, digital business models. This often results in uncertainty about the realization of transformation projects and the discussion of digital business models.

However, this situation can be solved with methods that have been tried and tested in practice.
